The invasion fleet had finally come. After weeks of intense fighting the Amarr Navy had pulled out of Nakregde. They had fallen back to the core systems; preparing for a heroic last stand.

The Outer Rim Alliances had grown bold and envied the rich, prosperous and fertile worlds of the old Empires. The old lumbering beast of the Amarr Empire, in its centuries old arrogance, had ignored the new threat building on the edges of its borders. The initial blow had been carefully planned and was devastatingly effective.

Three full Navy battle groups annihilated within an hour. The so called 1000 ship fleet of the rim alliances had captured dozens of systems by the end of the first day. They displayed a brutality that shocked the Amarr generals. By the end of the first week the Amarr Navy had finally sorted itself out, slowing the blitzkrieg to a slow trickle.
