I spotted this cool blog the other day and decided to try the app on my laptop. the resulting images is my work, pixel pushing, from about 1000 GMT to 2030 GMT today.

Why the change? Well, although I wrote the software for this site the subdomain made me feel I was squatting. It wasn't me, if that makes sense.

It is difficult to explain. Anyway I am happier with my new home and a reinforced vision of what the Bolthole means to me and to others.

The donation means that I should have enough cans to cover the current backlog which will take me at least 6 months to clear.

The quiz will be hosted by myself in the channel eve-cem. If you wish to take part please join the channel eve-cem before 1930 on Thursday. I will be in the channel from 1900 to answer additional questions.

There are 200 questions
Each question is worth a minimum of 1,000,000 ISK
The first correct answer on my screen is the winner of that question
All prizes will be distributed via the contracts system after the event
The answer on my sheet is correct regardless of what Wikipedia says
Arguments will result is disqualification
Logs of the event will be provided upon request

You may join in at any point during the evening, providing you have paid your entrance fee, however the later you join the harder it will be for you to aim for the top prizes.

When I originally landed it was cold but the sky was clear. I left the manticore, gave the crew some personal time and went off to get some clothes for the up-coming party season. I can't always get away with wearing a flight suit to every occasion. Luckily Nariea had furnished me with the latest Amarr fashion tips. Shopping is always more fun when done together but I wanted to surprise her...

During the several hours I spent trying on the most gorgeous dresses the weather had closed in and upon returning to the manticore I discovered a blizzard in progress. After having struggled aboard with all my own shopping, the stupid maglev network had been shutdown due to the bad weather stranding most of my crew in other parts of the continent.

I started the take-off sequence, against the advice of traffic control, but as I eased up the power the whole ship started shaking violently. Aborting I checked the sensors and discovered the landing gear and been FROZEN to the deck!

I was livid. I had to power down and go out into the blizzard and chop at the ice myself. Stupid crew, stupid weather. Anyway, I finally managed to free myself and get into orbit which is when I found out I'd left some of my shopping in the hanger office. I'm not going back for it. Hate flying in the snow. I'll get one of my lazy crew to collect it when they return to the station on a civilian transport.

What I need now is a long hot bath, a big mug of tea and then later I might relax on the balcony with a lovely bottle of wine I picked up planetside. I just hope nobody calls round, don't fancy entertaining tonight.

The only thing I am really concerned about is finding ammo or somewhere to dock in the later missions. We shall see how it goes

The planets look great too. Should make the game more immersive. I haven't found any problems yet but I am sure a couple will arise.

Long skill time folks!

The rules are as follows:

• T1 frigates only
• T1 modules only, rigs are allowed
• Only people under 3 months can take part
• The winner of each match gets to keep the loot
• Only two people per fight. If it is suspected that external influences are being applied to either combatant the match will be declared void.
• Matches will last a maximum of 10 minutes. In the result of a draw after this time, the person who inflicted the most damage will be declared the winner.

There is good news though! I have been collaborating with my very dear friend Nariea to create the fiction section of the site. Some of the stories posted there will be hers (the better ones) and I might do a few if I ever get round to it.

Sadly ISD weren't able to make the event so it is unlikely that I will get any press coverage. I will try to make a transcript of the event available as soon as possible and upload some screenshots.

The cemetery is now ready for the public opening ceremony. This will happen on Sunday 27th September 2009 at 1900 GMT/UTC. You can follow events by either showing up at the cemetery in orbit of Molea 2, moon 1 or joining the ingame channel eve-cem.

A few friends of mine with small corps have been discussing forming an alliance to help pool resources and maybe compete next time around. We were playing around with the name Allied Really Small Empires [ARSE].

I know the site is still a little barren in terms of content, I have been concentrating on the backend admin section first. I found that making pages then trying to get the admin stuff to work in reverse just wasn't working well. The good news is that the backend stuff is nearly complete so this week you should start to see all the sections below becoming live.

The main change is that the majority of the site is now in PHP. This enables me to do a lot more dynamic stuff like having a proper blog and groovy apps (coming soon). You an now add your comments to my blog posts if you feel inclined to do so.

There is still a bit to do but it should all slot into place in the next few days. The RSS feed should appear tomorrow at the latest, that will let you know when I make updates to the site.
